TEST DRIVE MEME
TEST DRIVE ![]() Welcome to Visada's TDM! Feel free to get as creative as you'd like with these prompts. None of the threads will count as game canon. This is just to give you a chance to play around with the setting and get a general idea of just some of things that can be done in the game. OPTION 1 Mistress Philenor, one of the vivacious butterfly-winged fairies that runs a shop in town, has asked you and another helpful soul to go out to the small lake on the northwestern side of the island and pick some Swallowtails. She needs a bushel of the flowers to make more of her popular aphrodisiacs. You and your partner for the outing leave the village and make your way to your destination. The water in the lake is clear and fresh, you can almost see all the way to the bottom. A small island sits in the middle of the lake, within swimming distance to those so athletically inclined. A tiny stream travels off to the west, emptying into the sea. On the southern shores of the lake grow the Swallowtails: great flowers of vibrant hues of blue. Just remember Philenor's warning. Breathing too deeply of the pollen may have unintended consequences. OPTION 2 Word arrives by lamassu post that there's unrest with the sea dragons. They're refusing to aid the villagers and transportation between the main island and the smaller one to the east has been cut off. People have been stranded there for two days now and something must be done. You volunteer to help and head toward the eastern shore. Maybe you meet others on your way and you decide to work together to see if you can resolve this. Maybe you enlist someone else's help when you learn that Lagiocrus (an ancient blue dragon) is cross with his nephew Jura (a young, free spirited green fellow who doesn't have much respect for people yet) over his foolish courtship of the princess Galzra (a haughty blue dragon from the far north). All of the other dragons in the vicinity are too caught up in the drama to worry about the petty concerns of mortals. Convince Lagiocrus that young love should triumph, or at least be allowed to get its heart broken. Talk up Jura to the disinterested object of his affection. Try to get Jura to see that there are other dragons in the sea. Or find some other way to either end the argument or lure the other dragons' interest back to helping out their landlocked neighbors. OPTION 3 After a long week, you want nothing more than to relax at the beach. It's a great day for it. Fair skies, warm sands, calm surf, and naked bodies sunning themselves along the shore. Wait. Yes, that's right. This is a nude beach. Or if it wasn't, it is now that the first visitor decided to exchange bathing suit for birthday suit. Do you join in? Ogle your neighbors? Swagger up to the hottie on the yellow towel a few yards away and start a conversation? Have fun. Enjoy yourself. You've earned the day off. OPTION 4 Wildcard! Make up your own prompt! Play around with the setting however you'd like. |

[ A nude beach is pretty much exactly the sort of thing that Trish expected to find in this place, and while Trish's first reaction to it was to be... less than thrilled, she decided to get in the spirit of things and skip the bikini, just to push her own limits a little. It's not like the little scraps of fabric would actually be hiding much anyway.
And that is when she remembers just how glorious it feels to swim naked. She has no idea why it makes such a huge difference to feel the water touch her entire body directly but oh boy, it does. She feels light and sleek and wonderful as she cuts through the waves, diving and splashing and laughing and not caring even a little bit that people can see her, and she certainly isn't really looking much at anyone else.
She has been an object of jealousy and desire and objectification for a large portion of her life, she isn't about to do it to other people even in a friendly sort of way. If flirtation happens, then she might ogle, but for the moment she is far too busy enjoying the water.
Eventually she gets out, grinning and out of breath, to flop down on a towel and just sort of lie there, feeling thoroughly blissed out.

[ Trish is here to help, and the people here know it, so there is really no need for costumes and masks and the like, but the dream of being a masked superhero still lives, and since Trish has nothing better to do on this particular day she is sitting on the front porch of her hut doodling costume designs.
She is not very good at drawing.
Nor is she particularly good at coming up with catchy names for herself, but she tries, writing them down next to the costume designs.
"Angel."
"Succubus."
"Punchy Judy."
Okay so even she is sort of aware that she's not doing great here. With a sigh, she very maturely draws a little pile of poop.
"Captain doodoo."
Save her. ]

How's the water?
no subject
Whoa.
Trish works in entertainment, she is used to being surrounded by pretty people but that doesn't take away from the fact that Natasha is stunning in a way that would make just about anyone take notice. Well done, genetics. ]
It's great. I'd forgotten how awesome skinny-dipping is.
no subject
Me too.
[ She looks out at the ocean, squinting some against the wind before looking back down at Trish, ]
Could you watch my things for me while I go try it for myself?
no subject
Sure, go ahead.
[ Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the sea without getting their stuff stolen. ]
no subject
Thanks.
[ She sets her sandals down first and then undoes the buttons on the front of her dress. She slips her arms out and then the dress itself down past her lips and legs. Her bra and panties follow after she steps out of the dress. She folds them up semi-neatly and sets them on a blank spot on the towel.
As she heads for the ocean, she throws over her shoulder, ]
Back in a few.
[ She's giving you a chance here, Trish. You seem like good people. But if you steal her cute dress she will hunt you down and kick your ass while butt-naked. Don't think she won't. ]
no subject
Enjoy the waves.
[ Trish, on the other hand, lies back down and turns around on her stomach to let Natasha enjoy her naked swim without an audience.
Well, without Trish as an audience at least. ]

She eventually floats on her back for a few moments, just enjoying the feeling of weightlessness and staring up at the sky. This place was pretty damn nice. So far.
When she finally gets out of the water, she wipes her hair away from her face and slicks it back using the water, tucking it behind her ears. She'll walk back over to Trish and kneel down on a corner of the towel. ]
You were right. It is great.
no subject
Right? It's like someone dragging silk all over your body only better.
[ She squints a little at the other woman, curious and thoughtful. ]
Hey, have we met before?
[ Because she is sure she has seen you somewhere, Nat. ]
no subject
And you get the chance to feel lighter than air.
[ But the question had her intentionally pushing her expression into one more pinched, thinking, before she's slowly shaking her head, ]
Don't think so.
[ She was already mentally going through her lists of aliases. Habit tbh. ]
no subject
[ Pardon her for sounding like an excited kid on Christmas morning. Trish has a thing for heroes. ]
Sorry, I didn't recognise you with your clothes off.
[ She winces a little at how weird that sentence came out, but then just smiles because this is so cool. ]
no subject
She wags a finger at Trish, ]
That was good. I can honestly say I've never heard that one before.
[ At least not when she wasn't undercover. Or from someone who wasn't Stark. ]
no subject
Don't give me too much credit, it was pretty unintentional.

He's not sure what to make of it. If he'd only seen the drawings, he'd think some kind of very unique fashion designer, but the names are what catch his eye as more unusual. Eyebrow raising, lips quirking into a half-smile, he speaks up in a soft, lilting tone. ]
Captain doodoo?
[ No, he can't even say that seriously. ]
no subject
But rather than hide what has already been seen, Trish decides to hold up the sketch so that Bruce can see it better, looking over at him with a challenging expression on her face. ]
What, is that not the best vigilante alias you have ever heard?
no subject
[ He steps a little closer to get a good look at the sketch. That's definitely not what he'd have guessed when he saw her drawing the costume, and he looks somewhere between surprised and mildly puzzled. ]
And you're planning on wearing this for these missions we'll be assigned, I take it?
[ Genuine curiosity in his tone, no judgement. Not like he can talk, considering what he was a part of just before coming here. ]
no subject
[ Every good masked avenger needs a sidekick after all! ]
no subject
[ Just stop talking, Bruce.
Shaking his head a little, he clears his throat and just goes with a joke instead. Well, a joke with a hint of truth. In this place, he can't be entirely sure who is or isn't from his world, or who would recognize him, even if her face does look vaguely familiar. Either way, he knows it'll only be a matter of time before everyone here knows about the Hulk, so. ]
Too bad I can't get a suit. I'd look nice in yellow spandex.
no subject
[ Hm. Yellow. She hadn't thought about that colour for some reason. She finds it oddly appealing, now that she's thinking about it. ]
But for me, there's nothing quite like going out on a noble rescue mission dressed like a giant pile of crap.
no subject
[ Best way to explain the Hulk without going into too many details, right? Right. ]
Well, you never know. Maybe you can think of a nice design. Not all costumes have to be that tacky.
no subject
[ She taps the drawing with the end of her pencil.
And then what he said sinks in. ]
Wait. Big and green... like the Hulk? Are you the Hulk?
no subject
[ He smiles a little sheepishly, his arms crossing over his chest in an instinctively defensive manner when she brings up the Hulk. She has to be from his world, then - or at least some reality similar enough to it.
It makes things both easier and more difficult right now. ]
That's me. But I usually prefer Bruce. [ He pauses. ] I thought your face looked familiar. We haven't met, have we?
no subject
[ In all honesty she wouldn't want to be called "The Hulk" either. ]
And no, we haven't met. You've probably just seen ads for my radio show or something. Trish talk? That's my name by the way. Trish. Walker.
no subject
His eyebrows raise a little and he nods at her clarification. ]
Must be that. I don't think I've ever listened to it, but... [ He shrugs, waffling for a moment before he reaches a hand out for a shake. ] Nice to meet you, Trish. Banner. That is, I'm Bruce Banner.
no subject
Nice to meet you, Bruce. Feel free to take a seat unless you were on your way somewhere before my brilliant design skills distracted you.
