TEST DRIVE MEME
TEST DRIVE ![]() Welcome to Visada's TDM! Feel free to get as creative as you'd like with these prompts. None of the threads will count as game canon. This is just to give you a chance to play around with the setting and get a general idea of just some of things that can be done in the game. OPTION 1 Mistress Philenor, one of the vivacious butterfly-winged fairies that runs a shop in town, has asked you and another helpful soul to go out to the small lake on the northwestern side of the island and pick some Swallowtails. She needs a bushel of the flowers to make more of her popular aphrodisiacs. You and your partner for the outing leave the village and make your way to your destination. The water in the lake is clear and fresh, you can almost see all the way to the bottom. A small island sits in the middle of the lake, within swimming distance to those so athletically inclined. A tiny stream travels off to the west, emptying into the sea. On the southern shores of the lake grow the Swallowtails: great flowers of vibrant hues of blue. Just remember Philenor's warning. Breathing too deeply of the pollen may have unintended consequences. OPTION 2 Word arrives by lamassu post that there's unrest with the sea dragons. They're refusing to aid the villagers and transportation between the main island and the smaller one to the east has been cut off. People have been stranded there for two days now and something must be done. You volunteer to help and head toward the eastern shore. Maybe you meet others on your way and you decide to work together to see if you can resolve this. Maybe you enlist someone else's help when you learn that Lagiocrus (an ancient blue dragon) is cross with his nephew Jura (a young, free spirited green fellow who doesn't have much respect for people yet) over his foolish courtship of the princess Galzra (a haughty blue dragon from the far north). All of the other dragons in the vicinity are too caught up in the drama to worry about the petty concerns of mortals. Convince Lagiocrus that young love should triumph, or at least be allowed to get its heart broken. Talk up Jura to the disinterested object of his affection. Try to get Jura to see that there are other dragons in the sea. Or find some other way to either end the argument or lure the other dragons' interest back to helping out their landlocked neighbors. OPTION 3 After a long week, you want nothing more than to relax at the beach. It's a great day for it. Fair skies, warm sands, calm surf, and naked bodies sunning themselves along the shore. Wait. Yes, that's right. This is a nude beach. Or if it wasn't, it is now that the first visitor decided to exchange bathing suit for birthday suit. Do you join in? Ogle your neighbors? Swagger up to the hottie on the yellow towel a few yards away and start a conversation? Have fun. Enjoy yourself. You've earned the day off. OPTION 4 Wildcard! Make up your own prompt! Play around with the setting however you'd like. |

He slowed down as they approached the stream, then stopped altogether when she spoke, shaking his head. "Not at all. I could use a sip myself."
no subject
Clearing her throat, she held it out to him-stained slightly blue. "I believe that we, ah, did find the right flower." If just some juice leftover from gripping the plant had this effect, it was hard to imagine what sort of potion could be made from it.
no subject
That reason became all too apparent when she spoke, holding her hand out to him. He immediately looked down at his own, but he hadn't held onto the flowers for nearly as long as she had, and he had no stains there. Which he would normally be grateful for, but right now it was probably going to make things very awkward and complicated. "The water-- it doesn't wash off, does it? Jesus. We can try to... wipe it off, maybe? Are you..." He trailed off, wincing in slight embarrassment and entirely incapable of even finishing that thought.
no subject
After the few seconds it took her to realize she'd agreed that attempting to wipe it off was an option, she produced a kerchief and began to furiously scrub at her hand, blushing deeply as she tried to avoid making eye contact-or any visual connection, really-with Bruce.
no subject
"Any luck?" He tried to peek at her hand, still spotting the stain even from a few feet away. He looked around, though he knew it was pointless - there wasn't much at all that could help them around here. "Maybe we should just keep going. The fairy might be able to help you once we get there."
Never mind that he didn't even know if she'd be able to manage the rest of the walk, but at least they could try.
no subject
Walking was slower with her so affected, but progress wasn't stopped entirely either. Of course, the more time the flower had to course through her system, the more drastically it impacted Josephine. Despite herself, she let out a quiet, needy whine as they continued to move on.
no subject
Bruce kept his eyes firmly on the path, staying some feet away from her, silence settled awkwardly between them. Talking might have helped in diffusing some tension, but on the other hand it could also worsen her situation, and besides he couldn't think of anything to say. When she let out a whine he glanced over briefly, a part of him feeling pretty bad for her, even as his cheeks grew a little warmer.
no subject
Still, she tried to offer something resembling a smile and a nod for his concern. "I'll be fine. We can... can keep going, please." Getting back to her hut and some privacy would allow Josephine to work this out with at least some dignity.
no subject
"I'm sorry," he turned his head away and fixed his eyes on the path ahead again, holding the bag tightly in his hand. He was stuck on things to say, besides he didn't know if filling the silence would be any better. "I wish I could've helped, i just... sorry. It shouldn't be much longer."
no subject
Silence seemed to be Josephine's preferred method of interaction, as well, even if heady sighs and the rare squeaks of indignity managed to slip from the woman. At least they were nearly there, right?
no subject
Once the trees started to thin out and they got closer to the settlement, he slowed down, waiting for her to catch up. "Do you want me to walk you to your hut, or do you prefer going alone?" Offering for the simple fact that she could cross paths with someone on the way there, and if Bruce was with her he could always help if she felt like she was about to do something she didn't really want to.
no subject
When they reached her hut, Josephine turned to face Bruce with a shaky smile after she opened the door. "You know... if you'd like, Bruce, you can come in. I'm sure that Philenor can wait a while longer for her flowers if she's waited *this* long already."
no subject
"I... are you sure?" He'd be lying if he said he didn't find her attractive, and sex was after all something they all agreed to when they came here, but that wasn't exactly his issue with this particular situation. "I don't want you to do something you'll regret later."
no subject
Without waiting for much in the way of further discussion, Josephine moved into her home, giving Bruce the opportunity to either follow or simply shut the door and be on his own way. She'd much prefer the former, but if he ended up with the latter, she certainly wouldn't fault him-and would probably even end up inviting him in again at a later date when she wasn't quite so vulnerable.
no subject
Still, it took him a few seconds to do anything, simply standing right outside the door, looking around vaguely before he decided to step inside. He didn't know enough about this flower to know if the effects wore off on their own, or if she needed to... well, get involved with someone, but one way or the other, at least she had asked him, instead of just dragging in some random passer-by. Closing the door behind him, he set the bag down on the floor, looking around as he stepped further inside, a little hesitant as to what to do now but slowly making his way over to her anyway.
no subject
As soon as the door was closed behind them and Bruce made his way towards her, Josephine practically pounced. Pressing herself up against Bruce, she began to work at his clothing, much more eager than she normally would be-even if her consent wasn't driven by the flowers, her behavior certainly was to some degree.
no subject
His hands hovered a little at first, settling on her arms at first, sliding up to her shoulders. This, the eager excitement, he was sure was the effect of the plant, and it would be a little difficult for him to keep up - he much preferred taking things slow here, even if he knew he didn't have to worry about an unwilling transformation, it was just easier to get used to all this -, but he would try anyway. His fingers still fumbled a little as started working on her clothes, gentle and carefully tugging at fabric, stopping to shrug off his own shirt once she managed to undo all the buttons.
no subject
His clothing, however, seemed fairly easy to remove. After he shrugged his shirt off, Josephine forwent further removal for more aggressive foreplay. Standing up on her tiptoes, she moved to press her lips to his while a hand worked its way inside of his pants in lieu of attempting to remove them.
no subject
His fingers curled tightly on her back, his hips shifting towards her touch, his hands scrambling to find whatever knots or hooks kept her bustier in place. There was something to be said about keeping his focus when she had her hand busy down his pants, but he managed somehow, breaking the kiss for a brief moment so he could do away with her more complex garment.
no subject
Josephine even managed to remain calm and nearly still as Bruce worked to disrobe her, going so far as to begin tugging at her own stockings to speed up the process. "Would you rather go to the bedroom, or maybe the bath?" That was definitely one of the nicer amenities in these huts, and probably for the very reason of encouraging their use for sex-the baths were quite spacious.
no subject
"The bedroom. Please." He agreed that the spacious and comfortable bathrooms were pretty nice to make use of for more than just bathing, but he preferred the bed for now, if nothing else then for the sake of ease. They could always continue things in the bathroom afterwards, if she felt like it.
no subject
Laying down on the bed, Josephine spread her legs and gave Bruce her best 'come hither' look. 'Seductive' wasn't usually her best look-sweet, certainly, maybe even sensual-but at this point, it wasn't likely that he would need much if any encouragement to join her.
no subject
It really was sweet, in a way - arousing too, of course, but he couldn't help finding her look just a hint endearing. He smiled as he stepped closer, getting on his knees on the bed, scooting closer and between her legs before he leaned forward, one hand sinking into the mattress next to her as he pressed a small kiss to her stomach, just below the edge of her ribcage. His other hand moved to her panties, tugging them down and past her hips, his lips trailing a path up to one of her breasts.
no subject
She closed her eyes as he kissed his way up her torso, one hand clenching her sheet slightly while the other dangled useless off the edge of the bed. One of the best things about living somewhere where everyone had sex was that, inevitably, everyone became quite skilled-and it was obvious Bruce knew what he was doing.
no subject
He paused on the kisses just so he could take off her panties entirely, folding one of her legs up and then the other to manage that, and with that last piece of clothing tossed aside, he put his lips to her skin again, this time parting his lips and drawing his tongue across her nipple tentatively. As his eyes flickered up to test her reaction, his hands slid up her legs, knuckles of one brushing along her inner thigh, farther up until his touch was but an inch away from the warmth pooled between her legs.
