It didn't take long for Josephine to get moving again, following along just to the side of Bruce as they walked. The journey was easy enough-a trek through the wilderness, of course, but along a mostly beaten path that had already been established for just the purpose of going to and from that lake.

About midway through, their path crossed a small stream, Josephine stopping beside it. "Do you mind if we stop a moment to take a drink?"
