He accepted the bag as he made his way to where his shoes were, sitting down so he could try to wipe as much dirt and sand off of his feet as possible before he put them back on. It didn't feel particularly pleasant, but it was better than walking all the way back barefoot, and he could always wash his feet once he was back at his hut.

"I won't mind if we do. It's not so bad here, is it?" He gave the lake a glance, enjoying the view. Strange plants and magic aside - he was still trying to get used to the idea that apparently that was just a thing here - it really was a pretty place. The whole island reminded him a little of a remote resort, actually, which he really didn't mind so much at all. "Is it very different, here? Compared to where you're from."
