If anything it's the opposite, and it's the fear of what could happen (or likely would, given time), and how he could scare her, hurt her, or worse. And that's the thing about really caring about someone that Bruce has come to learn over time: it's not about wanting to be with her, it's about wanting her to be happy and safe, even if that means being far away from him.
But there's nothing more he can say, at least not for now. Not until she's willing to really listen, and he's a little more past his own feelings about what she did. He'd be lying if he said he doesn't feel a dull ache, a hollow in his chest when she keeps walking away from him, but he knows there's nothing else he can do or say that could possibly make this any more right.
So he just watches her until she's out of his line of sight, feeling almost too aimless when she does, part of him wondering, hoping that they would each other again here, and maybe work things out just a little better. ]
