[Far be it from Tumnus to turn down the opportunity to offer aid to one of the wee folk. Truly, what harm could come from a little flower gathering? There was no White Witch here to blanket the world in snow and send the poor things into hibernation. No, if anything, this little island was a glorious example of spring and summer, the sun beating down on him and warming him from horn to hoof. He was in quite a lovely mood as he set off, chatting about Narnia and listening if his companion deigned to offer tales of their own.
Upon reaching the island, he was a little put out to see that there'd be a small swim to reach the flowers, but it was rather a small swim and he was a faun in quite good shape. His fur would take forever to dry, however.]
Well, there we are, it seems. Do you suppose it would take the both of us to reach it? I'm quite happy to carry the bundle back, it's just... my pelt, you see.
3 - Not Quite Nudity
[The beach had sounded like a rather lovely idea. Enjoy a little rest. Spring might have come to Narnia, but Winter had lasted so very long, he could hardly be blamed for wanting to soak up as much heat and warmth as he could, could he? The sand shifted under his hooves as he walked, smiling happily and giving those he passed a nod or a wave. That most of those he passed were nude hardly mattered. He was a faun, after all. If a faun of his years hadn't seen a sylph or dryad in a state of undress... well, he wasn't much of a faun. That was Tumnus' mind on it, anyway.
Aside from that, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely and he was quite pleased to find those who might wish to talk to a faun far from home.
To get in the spirit of the beach, he'd left off his scarf, so he was as nude as a faun could get. Quite invigorating, really. Though, he knew he'd be combing sand out of his fur for days. Well worth it, particularly if a smile garnered an invitation to chat.]
4 - Wild Cardnanigans
[As far as the rest of the island went, Tumnus could be found wherever there was someone else. The business district caught his attention, as it was a busy, bustling hive of activity that he found fascinating. His new home was quaint and he was immensely pleased to tend to the greenery outside and find anything he could to fix and fuss with.
Perhaps someone might come upon him playing his pipes, something sweet and bright as he found the mood of the new land he was in. At any time, Tumnus will offer a smile and a greeting, the faun more than happy to make a new acquaintance.]
